The seashore is a 56 mile long section of the Outer Banks of North Carolina running from Ocracoke Inlet on the northeast to Beaufort Inlet on the southeast. The three undeveloped barrier islands which make up the seashore - North Core Banks, South Core Banks and Shackleford Banks - may seem barren and isolated but they offer many natural and historical features that can make a visit very rewarding National Seashore, Boating, Camping, Educational Programs, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting, Swimming, Wildlife Viewing. Expansive reservoir and woodlands, habitat for diversity of animals, including American bald eagles. More than 400 campsites: 176 tent, trailer and recreational vehicle campsites with hookups; 99 tent, trailer and recreational vehicle campsites without hookups; 89 backpack campsites; 18 group tent campsites; showers, dump stations. More than 20 picnic shelters. Interpretive programs, lake fishing and swimming, 10 boat ramps, privately operated marina nearby. Lakeside trail: 12 miles of hiking trails, more than six miles of bicycling trails.

A family campground located on 80 beautiful acres just off the Blue Ridge Parkway between Mileposts 257 and 258 in the North Carolina mountains. We welcome RVs (motorhomes), 5th wheels, pop-ups, slide-outs, travel trailers, and tent campers. We provide hookups, dump station, modern bathhouses, laundry facilities, groceries, LP gas, playground, and a playing field for softball, horseshoes, etc. Come fish our 5 acre lake. Use our recreation building for meetings. We offer Sunday church services.
